The full complement fo products consists of  top-hung windows, bottom-hung windows, side-hung windows, tilt-and-turn-windows, sliding windows, sliding doors, hinge doors, floor-spring and pivot doors, and a highly acclaimed curtain walling system.

The Technal range has a number of unique features that has earned the brand its high regard in the marketplace. Here are some of the main features listed below.

Top hung, Bottom Hung; Side Hung & Tilt-and-Turn Windows

“FB Range”

  • Top hung – outward opening
  • Top hung on stays – up to 2150mm high x 1600mm wide
  • Top hung on hinges – up to 1200mm high x 1500mm wide
  • Bottom hung – inward opening – up to 900mm high x 1600mm wide
  • Side hung – inward or outward opening – up to 2150mm high x 900mm wide
  • Tilt & Turn – inward opening – up to 2150mm high x 1600mm wide
  • Single or double glazed
  • Glazing beads on the inside
  • Round or square glazing beads
  • Can be integrated with the PB door system, the GB slider system and the MX curtain wall system

Hinge Doors, Floor Spring & Pivot Doors

“PB Range”

  • Double or single doors
  • Opening inwards, outwards or double action
  • On hinges, floor springs or pivots
  • Single glazed or double glazed
  • Glazing beads on the inside
  • Can be integrated with the FB window system, the GB slider system and the MX curtain wall system
  • Doors up to 2400mm high and 1100mm wide
  • Variety of locking option including single point, double point or 3 point locks.

The Technal PB entrance door system offers doors that seal completely and can be tested to the same standards as the FB casement windows (AAAMSA A4). The sealing for air and water leakage is the highest in SA. A variety of bottom thresholds are on offer to cater for various applications.

Sliding Windows & Doors

“GB Range”

  • Same system for doors and windows
  • Single or double glazed (up to 20mm)
  • Single, double or triple tracks to cater for a wide variety of opening types
  • Standard or reinforced centre and side mullions to cater for all wind loadings
  • Fly screen system available
  • Can be integrated with the PB door system, the FB window system and the MX curtain wall system
  • Variety of locking options including single-point, double-point or 3-point locks
  • GB Polynesia system available which allows for a slider and a top hung vent in one opening.

Curtain Walling

“MX Range”

  • A 52 mm module pressure plate system that allows various aesthetic design effects:
    • Grid system
    • Horizontal lines
    • Vertical lines
  • It is possible to have opening vents inside the curtain wall
  • Single or double glazed
  • Various glass thicknesses can be used in the same façade
  • Thermal insulation in accordance with European standards
  • One structure is used for several design effects
  • Easy to manufacture with tooling provided
  • Square cut transoms with no machining necessary
  • Same sections used for both mullions and transoms
  • Variety of horizontal and vertical caps available, including project specific designs
